Benefits to the Community

During Better Together, students will participate in fun activities (such as pep assemblies, games and fun contests) while reflecting on their La Salle experience and expressing appreciation to teachers and fellow students, in addition to raising funds to support each other. These shared activities strengthen the community by building friendships, personal bonds and great memories. Students may also get creative and use bake sales, car washes, babysitting, or other ideas to raise money to meet their goals. Prizes and points will be awarded based on the amount of funds they raise and their participation in fundraiser activities, such as an alumni Phonathon.

In addition there will be some fun group prizes!

  • Class Prizes – Krispy Kreme Doughnut Party!

    • The Top 3 Classes with the most money raised

    • The Top 3 Classes with the most spirit points

  • Whole School - Falcon Food Truck Friday!

    • If our students raise $110,000 by April 22 *the entire school* (students, teachers + staff!) will experience an exciting complimentary Falcon Food Truck Friday, with food trucks in the parking lot, music and celebration on Friday, May 6.


Benefits to Individual Students

By actively participating in Better Together with classmates and peers, our hope is that every student experiences a variety of things, including:

  • Working with a group toward a common goal that benefits many

  • Joy that comes from giving to a good cause and supporting others

  • Gratitude of experiencing the generosity of peers, friends and family

  • Realizing the many ways in which they've grown, changed and developed academically, personally and spiritually as they talk to other about their La Salle experience (i.e. just how far they've come in such a short time!)

  • Recognition that there are many people in their lives - educators, parents, relatives, friends -  who care deeply about them.

There will be some great prizes for individuals too! 

If a student raises:

  • $75+ by April 8, they earn a chance to Spin the Wheel at lunchtime on April 11 for a gift card to Dutch Bros, Laughing Planet, Bellagio’s, Black Rock, Crumbl, etc.

  • $100+ by April 14, they earn a chance to Spin the Wheel at lunchtime on April 14 for a gift card to Dutch Bros, Laughing Planet, Bellagio’s, Black Rock, Crumbl, etc.

  • $150+ by April 22, they earn attendance at our Shave Ice Party plus entry in a raffle that could earn a $100 Visa gift card!

All net proceeds from the Better Together campaign will be split between need-based financial assistance and funding community-building efforts such as retreats, class connect days, St. La Salle Day festivities, and more.
